It’s a light Wednesday night schedule on the local sports scene tonight as we head into the holidays.
The University of Findlay women’s basketball plays a nonconference game at Urbana today at 5:30 p.m.
There are a pair of boys basketball games on the slate both in Hardin County as Hardin Northern hosts Ridgemont and Riverdale visits Kenton. Courier writer Nathan Inniger will travel to the Hardin County seat to cover the Falcons an Wildcats.
There is also prep wrestling and swimming set for tonigth as well.

BOYS BASKETBALL: Ridgemont gets first win
DOLA — Ridgemont’s Cody Seiler poured in 24 points on Wednesday to lead the Golden Gophers to a 68-48 nonleague boys basketball win over Hardin Northern.
Seiler, a 6-foot-2 senior, powered Ridgemont to leads of 18-7 in the first quarter and 33-18 at the half as the Gophers (1-7) chalked up their first win of the season.
Junior guard Hayden Bradley scored 16 points for Hardin Northern. Rylie Drumm, Paul Gault and Kyle Lamb added seven points each for the Polar Bears (1-6).
