The University of Findlay men and women’s basketball teams are back in action today and we’ll have the latest on that game and more here at The Courier.
The Oilers will be on the road for a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader at Walsh beginning at 5:30 p.m. Courier writer Brian Lester will cover tonight’s contest.
The OHSAA state swimming and diving championships get underway today in Canton. Ottawa-Glandorf and Ada’s swimmers will compete in the Division II state swimming preliminaries beginning at 5 p.m.
There are also four boys basketball games on tonight’s schedule as well.
We’ll have stories on those games and scores from around the region later tonight on The Courier’s sports weblog, The Blanchard River Buzz.

Boys Basketball: Risner leads Cory-Rawson past St. Wendelin
RAWSON — Grant Risner had another big night Thursday as Cory-Rawson downed St. Wendelin 48-35 in a nonconference boys basketball game.
Riser scored 26 points and grabbed 15 rebounds, both game highs, to lead the Hornets (7-14). Risner added a game-best four assists.
Nick Root paced St. Wendelin (9-12) with 13 points. Gabe Walters had eight rebounds.

The Tigers trailed 45-44 after three quarters before raising their record to 9-12 overall and 3-6 in the league.
Chad Wright added 19 points for North Baltimore.
Colin Timmons scored 15 points and Dakota Bowling added nine for the Raiders (7-13, 1-8).
