District Bowling: O-G boys finish sixth

LIMA — Ottawa-Glandorf’s boys bowlers finished sixth in the team standings to lead the way for area teams at Saturday’s Division II district bowling championships at Lima’s Westgate Lanes.
Coldwater rolled to the boys title with a score of 4,081. Ottawa-Glandorf checked in with a 3,721.
The top three teams and top three individuals not on a qualifying team earned a trip to next week’s OHSAA state championships in Columbus.
Liberty Center’s Tyler Lange was the individual champion with a 192-207-258—657 series. Ottawa-Glandorf’s Andrew Krukowski was the top area finisher in the boys tournament as he placed ninth with a 196-211-202—609.
Coldwater made it a sweep with 3,680 to win the girls crown. New Riegel (2,908) and Patrick Henry (2,903) finished eighth and ninth respectively.
The top four teams and top four individuals not on a qualifying team qualified for state.
St. Marys Memorial’s Kristen Dammeyer won the individual championship with a 235-196-177—608 series.
New Riegel’s Mikayla Theis finished 24th to lead area girls with a 202-133-145—480 series.
