Girls Soccer Roundup: Upper Sandusky downs Ada, 5-1

ADA — Sierra Carey scored two second-half goals as Upper Sandusky pulled away in the second half to beat Ada 5-1 in North Central Ohio Soccer Association girls soccer action on Thursday.
The Rams (4-1, 1-0 NCOSA) led 1-0 at the break thanks to a goal by Megan Hensel with 14 minutes left in the opening period. Grace Miller made it 2-0 when she found the net on a penalty kick with 38:39 remaining in the second. Carey netted a pair of goals in a four-minute span to put the game away.
Makenna Searls made six saves in goal for Upper.
Makayla Callahan scored the lone goal for Ada (0-4, 0-2).

Cory-Rawson (1-1-1, 0-0-1 NCOSA) outshot Mohawk 10-1. Ally Weinandy had nine saves for the Warriors (0-1-1, 0-0-1 NCOSA).
